If your problem is not included here, please submit your problem description with the "Submit a question" link. Here is an example of a previously reported problem and the resolution. FUTURE COST CHANGESThe Group Buy System has been enhanced to help you decide how to handle Future Cost Changes at the time you are making the selection of items to include on a Deal Sheet. When working with Future Cost Changes it is important to remember that when you select the cost basis for a deal sheet, that cost applies to all items on the deal sheet. Some care needs to be taken to ensure that the items included on the deal sheet have the same future cost change with the same start or effective date. This will avoid problems with having a mixture of Regular GS Cost items and Future Price Change items on the same deal. There are three report tools that help you deal with future cost changes and making sure you are handling them correctly in terms of including or not including them with other items that may or may not have the same cost for the same reflect period: Future Cost by Deal, Under Report Selection - CurrentThe Future Cost by Deal report option on the Menu page will provide a list of the items found in the Deals Not Submitted to GSC status list that have a Future Cost Change. This report can be helpful in determining which items within a Vendor Code Grouping have a Future Price Change. The report will identify the new cost and the start or effective date of the cost change. The Future Cost Change report provides basic Item information in addition to the new cost of the item and the date on which the cost will start or become effective. The primary purpose of this report is to help you determine which items to include on a deal that do or do not have the same future cost as the item that does have a future cost. When you are including an Item on a deal that has an effective date that is equal to or later than the Reflect From Date of the deal you will want to be sure that the other items included on that deal have the same cost and effective dating. Including other items that do not have the same future cost will result in those items being assigned to that cost on the deal sheet. Remember, a deal sheet has only one cost basis among three options, which are Regular GS Cost, Future Price Change or Pending Price Change. The cost basis of all items on the deal must be the same or erroneous pricing will result. The above is an example of the report you will see when you click on a deal in the Future Cost by Deal report on the Menu page. The report displays the future cost of the Items and the start or effective date of that cost. This report will assist in finding items with a future cost as you are deciding which items to include on a deal sheet. Click on the Browser BACK button to return to the Menu page and continue working. Refer to the Deal Details page, Cost Basis Option #2 for information on how to select a Future Price Change amount as the cost basis of the deal sheet. Show Future Cost, Review All ItemsThe Review All Items link on the Basic Info page provides you with a list of all items under the Vendor Code Grouping that is currently in effect. This report has been enhanced to provide a list of items that have a Future Cost on the GSC databases. The Show Future Costs link at the top of the item list is how you activate the list of future cost items. When you click on the Show Future Cost link, the system provides a list of all items with the current Vendor Grouping you have applied that have a Future Cost Change on GSC Databases. Click on the BACK button on your Browser when you are through reviewing the items to return to the item selection page. Show Future Cost, Item SelectionOnce you have entered the Cost, Pack and Reflect Dates on the Basic Info page and click on the Select Deal Items button, the system takes you to the Item Selection page. The Item Selection page allows you to select the items you want to include on the deal sheet. The Item Selection page now has the Show Future Costs link that provides a list of items within the Vendor Grouping applied that have a Future Cost on the GSC databases. Activate the list by clicking on the Show Future Cost link.
