SEARCHING THE DEAL SHEET FILESYou have numerous options and combinations of options for searching the deal database. You may search on partial text or full text. The search engine is a Google type of search meaning you may have more success by starting your search with fewer criteria and narrow the field based on that results. However, when you have the specifics of the deal for which you are searching, enter as much information as you have. The three (3) buttons that control the Search process are: Search (launch the search); Reset (clear search criteria); Close (leave the Search page and return to the Menu Options page). The Search control link allows the vendor to search the Deal Sheet files in a number of ways to research deal information including:
Whether searching for a very specific piece of information or searching more broadly, simply key the information you are seeking into the appropriate box and click the SEARCH button. Click the RESET button to clear your previous search entries so you can enter another search. Click the Close button to close out the Search and return to the Menu page. DESCRIPTIONDescription provides a search on all or part of an Item Description you are seeking in the deal sheet files. The search will accept as much or as little Item Description information that you have and return any matching descriptions. ITEM/UPC NO. / ITM, UPCItem/UPC No. provides a search on an Item Number or a UPC number. Click ITM if the search is for an Item Number and UPC if the search is for a UPC No. The search will return all Item lines matching the code entered. BUYERBuyer provides a search for a buyer's name. The search will accept a partial or full name and will return any matching files with that name. VENDORVendor provides a list of vendor numbers associated with your particular Logon identity. Simply click on the number you wish to search and the system will search only that vendor number. DATE RANGEDate Range allows the selection of a start and end date range to narrow your search to a specific period of time. PACKPack allows the selection of a particular Item Pack size as a means of locating a particular deal sheet. SIZESize allows the selection of a particular Item unit Size as a means of locating a particular deal sheet. DEAL NO.Deal No. is the Mfg. Deal Number assigned by the Vendor at the time the deal was being created or subsequently changed with the Update/Change Deal Info maintenance option. DEAL NAMEDeal Name is the Group Buy Deal Description assigned by the Vendor at the time the deal was being created or subsequently changed with the Update/Change Deal Info maintenance option. |
