RE-OPEN DEALThe Group Buy Team has the authority to re-open a deal marked as complete by a Buyer. The Buyer must contact the Group Buy Team and request the deal be reopened for further action. At the Group Buy Team's discretion the deal can be reopened for the Buyer to take the needed action. Alternatively, the Group Buy Team can make the needed changes for the Buyer. The Buyer may make the needed changes or the Buyer may re-open the deal for access by the Vendor that created the deal in order for the Vendor to take the needed action.
Simply click on the Re-Open Deal menu option. The system presents a list of deals, Re Open Deal report, that are eligible for re-open. Basically, these are deals that have been marked as complete by the Buyer and moved to a Submitted for Group Buy Approval status, or inaccessible to the Buyer. WARNING MESSAGE
This pre-cautionary Warning message helps prevent inadvertent reopening of a deal sheet. Click YES if you intended to reopen a deal and NO if you clicked the Re-Open menu option by mistake. Example of Re-Opened Deal Sheet
The deal sheet has been re-opened with the status of Submitted for Buyer Approval. The Buyer may now take whatever action that is required on the re-opened deal sheet. Or, the Buyer may re-open the deal to the Vendor for the Vendor to take the needed action. |
